05 / COMPANY SHELLS

Your company. Its own starting point.

A company shell brings together the capabilities, interfaces and controls your organization needs. Keep what already works, connect it through JEN and build the approved missing pieces around the services you want to offer.

Company knowledge. Technical discovery. A shell shaped around your goals.
05.1

You define the goals.
Discovery maps the starting point.

Your company helps define what belongs in its shell. Wizard captures your requirements in plain language; Discovery examines the systems and interfaces you authorize. Together, they establish what can be connected, what needs adaptation and what must be built.

WIZARD / COMPANY INPUT

Bring your capabilities into the plan.

Tell JEN about your existing services, software, data sources and interfaces. Choose the capabilities you want to include, describe services you want to add, and identify the people authorized to set the boundaries.

Your team defines the purpose, permitted information and operations, and anything the installation must leave outside its scope.

DISCOVERY / TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING

Find what the company can already provide.

Within that authorized scope, Discovery maps systems, versions, interfaces, capabilities, constraints and gaps. It distinguishes a usable existing capability from one needing adaptation, a missing service and something the evidence cannot yet establish.

Discovery reports through Dispatch for independent verification. It does not install a shell or grant itself access.

Company declarations, Discovery findings and verified capability are distinct. Unknown information remains visible until supported. Discovery is the system-mapping role; corporate specialist agents are separate roles tailored to a company’s work.

05.2

Five profiles.
A starting point for every company.

Profiles 0–4 describe how much of the capability required for your requested setup is already qualified and available through company interfaces. The profile helps JEN determine what to connect, adapt or supply.

PROFILE 0 / STARTING FRESH

Build the missing starting capability.

None of the required interface capabilities is currently qualified and available for this installation. The company may have only a website or manual processes, or existing systems that still need adaptation. JEN plans the approved missing pieces around the requested scope.

The profile describes this installation’s starting capability. A higher number does not grant more permission or change the company’s authority.

How the profile is determined +

The requested setup is mapped to a defined inventory of required capabilities. Each item is classified as qualified and available, available but needing adaptation, missing, or unknown.

The profile reflects the proportion already qualified and available. Adaptation work is not counted as finished before it is independently qualified. An unknown required item holds final classification open.

Optional services outside the requested scope are not added to manipulate the result. When the requested scope materially changes, the inventory is versioned and assessed again.

05.3

Builder creates the shell
in the sandbox.

Once the requirements and permitted work are defined, Dispatch can assign Builder to create the company-shell candidate in an isolated development environment. Builder can assemble the shell, develop authorized missing modules and construct requested specialist-agent candidates.

BUILDER / SANDBOX

Construct and refine.

Versioned company shell, approved service modules, specialist candidates, dependencies and evidence. Development stays inside the assigned sandbox.

CONTROLLED HANDOFF THROUGH DISPATCH

Exact candidate → independent verification → readiness and company authorization → separate installation assignment

MECHANICAL / COMPANY ENVIRONMENT

Integrate the eligible result.

Install and configure the verified artifact at the company-selected boundary, within a separate authorized assignment. Record the actual integration result.

  1. 01

    Agree on the requested work.

Wizard captures the company’s choices. Discovery establishes the technical starting point. The scope defines included capabilities, dependencies, permissions and prohibitions.

  2. 02

    Build and exercise the candidate.

Builder develops the shell and authorized additions in the sandbox, tests its work and returns the versioned candidate and evidence to Dispatch.

  3. 03

Check the shell and its destination.

Independent verification examines the candidate. The intended company environment also needs the applicable compatibility evidence. The company receives a clear account of readiness and remaining gaps.

  4. 04

    Activate within the company’s approval.

Readiness does not install anything by itself. Company confirmation and the protected activation path govern the transition; Mechanical performs its separately assigned integration, with evidence and defined recovery provisions.

05.4

Add the services your business needs.

The shell can grow around your goals. Ask for the capability you need, identify who may use it and define what it may do. Existing services can be connected; approved missing capability can be supplied; new requirements can become bounded development work.

CONNECT

Use the systems you trust.

Bring suitable inventory, order, scheduling, support or operational capabilities into the agreed JEN interface. Keep the company system that already performs the job.

ADD

Supply the missing service.

An approved JEN-native module can fill a defined gap. A service that needs new development becomes a scoped sandbox candidate with its own requirements and evidence.

SPECIALIZE

Build around your expertise.

Contribute company procedures, requirements and domain knowledge for a specialist agent. Builder constructs the candidate on JEN’s agent foundation; its role, tools and permissions stay explicit.

EVOLVE

Grow without replacing everything.

Add an authorized service or later connect your own replacement system. Preserve the agreed capability contract and verify the change, migration and cutover before relying on the new path.

Example: a website-first company adds inventory +

A company has a website but no suitable inventory interface. Through Wizard, it requests a bounded inventory service and a plain-language dashboard, specifies the people who may use it, and sets read and update permissions.

Discovery examines the authorized starting point and reports the actual gap. Dispatch assigns the appropriate sandbox work. Builder prepares the company shell and approved missing capability; independent verification and target checks establish what is ready.

After company confirmation and the required authorization, Mechanical integrates the eligible result. Later, if the company adopts its own inventory system, an authorized migration can preserve the JEN-facing capability while changing the system behind it.

This is an architectural example, not a live installation or a promise that every requested service already exists.
